How it works
A half day covers the part of a wedding most people remember: the last nervous hour before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, the hugs afterwards, a few family groups, twenty minutes of portraits and the speeches.
It suits register-office weddings, small gatherings of thirty or forty, and days that end with a long lunch rather than a party. If your timings move on the day, I move with them; the five hours start when I arrive, not when the ceremony is booked.
You can add a second photographer, the album or a box of prints later. Most half-day couples add the prints.
